Raising our awareness may come from looking within.

Raising our awareness is the key to being in harmony with natural laws.  Our awareness limits our perceptions and our beliefs to only those of which we are aware. To increase, change, or improve our awareness, we must become aware of other thoughts, beliefs, or truths. If we improve or change positively our awareness in any component, we improve our self-image.

Natural laws define the natural order of things.  The closer we come to realizing and understanding the natural laws, the greater the flow of universal energy through us.  The closer we come to the natural order in our physical, intellectual, and spiritual thoughts and actions, the more prosperity, joy, and well being flow through us.  These laws of nature are similar to the natural law of gravity.  We realize the effect of gravity on our movement and build an understanding of how to function.  We increase our mobility.  There are many natural laws that define truth, love, faith, abundance, freedom, intuition, wisdom, and unity.  As we build knowledge and awareness, we learn to modify our behavior to be in harmony with natural laws.

Education leads to awareness.  Awareness leads to change.  Change leads to growth.  Growth leads to greater self-confidence, to greater self-esteem, and to maturity.  This is the cycle of education.

For children, education is the center of their lives.  Their concentration and focus in their formal school years most often dictates the success of their career.  Education leads to awareness, which leads to change, which leads to maturity, which leads to growth.  To shape our lives after our formal school years, we must extend the educational cycle so that we continue to mature and grow.  Our formal school years teach us to communicate with society.  Courses taken in our adult years should address our specialized needs combined with our inner needs.

At some point education becomes completely personal.  We begin to address the urgings from within that deal with our destiny.  We begin to address the urgings from within that ask who are we and what do we want to do.  The search through education takes many forms.  It can be in the form of individual research or it can come from the support of a larger peer group.  Peer support groups in our culture include religious organizations, social clubs, and work related organizations.

As we advance up the steps of our education, our teachings go from practical to abstract, from social to personal, from physical to intellectual to instinctive to intuitive.  Each step brings more awareness, which leads to change and growth.  With growth comes confidence.

Through a raised awareness the quality of our thoughts and actions helps us form new beliefs grounded more firmly in truth, more closely aligned to who we are, to what we truly want to be and do.  Our thoughts and actions shape the nerve cell patterns in our brain.

The more knowledge and awareness we have, the closer to the truth we become.  The closer to the truth we become, the clearer our perception of what our journey should be, and the better our focus on our role and destiny.  When we are close to our pearl we get strong signals and more enlightenment.

There are hundreds of facets to our character. Each facet is formed by a belief that we hold to be a fact, the truth.  Each time we learn something new or become aware of other facts, the facts we hold as truth become more entrenched or are replaced by new beliefs.  When we accept a new belief, a new fact, we change.  When we change by getting closer to the truth, we grow.  Our self-esteem grows from the realization.  Our confidence grows.  We become more mature.  We are better suited to face the challenges of life.

It we are totally successful, the curriculum we choose will lead us to truth in its absolute form.  At its absolute, truth puts us in complete harmony with all natural universal law and allows us to draw on the natural universal energy.  The practical results in our life are a high level of confidence with high self-esteem, which allows us to be self-sufficient.
